TODAY IN ENGLISH CLUB: Thursday, August 19th, 2021

Never get tired to learn especially in learning English, because it fulls of fun and fun, the students are so excited and also eager to speak and learn more from the awesome teachers. The relaxing virtual class got rid of our tiredness. Let’s check it out our English class today.

Teacher : Miss Jennifer (Grade 7)

Miss Jeniffer guided us in this class. There are almost 50 students joined in today English club. We started the lesson by greeting and saying hello to each other and talked about our activities before we started talked about Disney movies and our favorite characters. Some of us liked Frozen movie and the other likes Brave and Starwars. Ms Jennifer said that her favorite are “How to train a dragon”. After we talked about the movies we did the kahoot quiz to test our knowledge about Disney Movies. After the quiz, we talked about our personal favorite things. Miss Jeniffer had a personal favorite Earring and told the story about how the ring has given to her and She mentioned about her family story. Some of the Students said that they liked their phones and someone said that she loved her pet bunny so much.

Before we ended the class, Miss Jeniffer asked about our experience on eating strange food. Miss Jennifer said that once she ate an Eel and a dog meat, it happened when she travelled around Indonesia and suddenly a student also shared his experience ate a dog meat too, we were laugh together.

In the break out room, everyone had fun and shared some jokes and then when it finished we said thank you and goodbye to Miss Jennifer.

Teacher : Miss Setayesh (Grade 8)

Today Miss Sety guided us in this class, there were 25 students joined in today EC. First saying hello to each other, then Miss Sety invited us to talk about our family. We also talked about how our grandparents met.

Miss Sety gave us some questions spontaneously, like quiz. She asked about our silly things that we did. And that’s all really embarrassing. One of the student told her silly thing, when went to the Mall, she saw someone looked like her friend, then she called her and pat her back, but when she looked at her it wasn't her friend.  The other student shared his experience when he fell because he slipped on a banana peel, we’re laughing together. We also talked about what we want to be in the future.

The class is so fun, we didn't realize that the time was almost end. We hope Miss Sety will teach us again.

Teacher: Mr. Emmet (Grade 9)

Today our native teacher is Mister Emmeth. There were 30 students in our class today. Before the class started we welcome Mister Emmeth with greetings and hello from us, and we got to know each other with Mister Emmeth. Our friends got to know how old are we, some of us are still 13 years old and some of us are 14 years old.  We talked about our favorite TV shows, like anime, cartoons and many more. We shared what we loved to do in our free time like played games, scrolled Tik Toks, and others. We also told our favorite things like reading comics or painting and others. Our favorite subjects, some of us like PPKN (History), Science, Mathematics and of course English. Mister Emmeth also asked our favourite teachers too, we love all of our teachers. We had so much fun in the English Class today!

And before we ended our class, Mister Emmeth asked us what should we talk about for the next class with Mister Emmeth, everyone agreed that debating about one topic sounds fun for our next class.

When the breakout room will be closed in 10 seconds We were so sad to leave the class and even Mister Emmeth kept begging to not close the breakout room, hahaha.

We really had a great time with Mister Emmeth. Oh yeah I forgot, in the middle of the class Mister Emmeth sometimes like to mess around with Ma’am Wenny by calling her name to make her panic and she was panicked hahahaha and it was so funny. He just wanted to make the enjoyable virtual class.
