HAVE FUN IN ENGLISH CLUB

Who doesn’t love English, Everyone wants to be able to speak English. English is fun and easy to learn especially being taught by Ms Jennifer, Ms Sethy and Mr Emmet, but there are also Ma’am Wenny, Mr Djati and Ma’am Tika accompanying us in English Club.

There are so many students want to join the English Club, the students are very enthusiastic, there are 122 students from 7,8 and 9 grade. The students want to join this club because they want to improve their English, and I think I could say that this club is one of the most fun clubs I have ever joined. One thing that I noticed in this club, is that everybody speaks in English. From the ones who just started learning the language to the ones who are amazing at English, everybody speaks the same language, English. When a person got stuck on their English, the others would help them to speak the language.

It’s the second meeting in the English club, we started by praying, then Ma’am Tika divided us into three breakout rooms based on to the grade level. The class will be started, check it out!

The 7^th grade students learned with Ms Sethy, they learned more about vocabularies, grammar, read the dialogue and also tell about their hobbies and interest. They were so active and tried to get involved. On the other class, Mr Emmeth asked the 8^th grade students about their favourite subjects and surprisingly he chose randomly, it made the students must prepare themselves. In the nine class, Ms Jennifer asked us to play Kahoot with the theme is about Holy Bible. It was really fun! The teacher and the students discussed which the right answers together. Smiles filled the little virtual room. You could listen to the laughter of many students, even teachers! We also talked about our favourite things, for example Bryan showed his comic book and Jodra with his mac book.

The teachers here are amazingly nice and kind. They are super outgoing and easy to talk to. The students loved talking with the teachers. Sometimes, the teacher would ask us about our day. It was so fun, even though not everybody was picked to share their opinion but by hearing your friends, it is so nice!

We are all learning English, and learning in a happy and positive environment might just help us improved the language.

Try then you will be able, If you never try, you will never know how cool it is
