FUN STUDY ROOM

English is one of the most important languages today, so prepare yourselves to practice English. English club is one of the platforms to practice. Never say too hard in learning English especially in Speaking, if you want to say something or to give your opinion just speak up and enjoy the fantastic English class. Here we are in English club.

Grade 7 with Mr. Emmet

Mr. Emmet started by asking the students about places where they wanted to live and why did they want to live there. Second he asked about our favourite super heroes and talked about memes to us and asked us about our favourite memes too. The most of favourite meme of the people was the “sussy baka “ word but the meaning is bad. We also talked about our movies favourite characters, like marvel character. Today is super fun in English club. My favourite part in today English club lesson is to know more about all of us and also Mr. Emmet. We enjoy every little things in English club with the teacher and the native speaker. Time was running super fast that we have to end our discussing in English class, it was pretty sad to wait until next week.

Grade 8 with Miss Jennifer

The activity we did in English club today, we talked about the topic we will use for debate next week, for example online school vs offline school in Pandemic. Horror movies vs Science fiction, and many more. then we talked about corona, Gracia said that she has ever gone to the Mall and Miss Jenifer asked something about Mall in pandemic like how did we enter the mall, how many people inside the mall, and did we need the vaccine to enter the mall. Then we did kahoot, the material is about animals, it’s so interesting and fun we talked about komodo, koala, zebra, and laugh together, we also asked who has ever seen panda, Miss Jenifer and my friend didn’t see the panda yet. At the end we talked about music, what music we listened to, some students liked to hear rap music and the others liked to hear pop music and also we talked about the music instrument that we can play likes piano or drum, Maaika could play drum but now he stop to play it maybe he can play try again next time. We are so fun in our class today with miss Jennifer, but the time is over so we have to finish our class.

Grade 9 with Miss Setayesh

Today was English Club. As usual, the 7th, 8th, and 9th were split up. This time, the 9th Graders were with Ms. Seta, one of the native teachers for English Club.

The 9th graders were asked random questions by miss Sety and we had 30 seconds to think about the answers. Miss Sety asked us the multiple questions. She asked us about our favourite fast food restaurant and our favourite meals or orders.

Almost all of us answered differently. Efan liked KFC chicken while Rakya liked Burger King especially their mozzarella burgers. The other question was "what is the weirdest thing you've seen on a train". Ms. Sety also asked us about our favourite movies.

After that, Ms. Sety asked us random riddle-type of quizzes. For example "Why did the chicken cross the road" and about a scooter accident between an elephant and an ant and how did the ant survive while the elephant died and so on. Then we back to the main room and close the meeting with the prayer.

Wow every students said they have more fun in their classes. It can be seen from their faces. They can’t wait until tomorrow because there will be the debate. It must be awesome, see you soon.
